Steven
W. Scates
Steven
is the Founder and President of Jet Aeronautical. He
is accomplished in many different areas of the aviation
industry. Having flown as a FAR 121 and FAR 135 Captain,
Steven knows and appreciates the demands of being a professional
pilot. As a former aviation underwriter for USAIG’s
Pasadena office, he knows the aviation insurance industry,
as well. Steven provided risk management and underwriting
solutions for some of USAIG’s biggest corporate
customers. He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical
University’s Prescott, Arizona campus in 1994,
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Science
and a minor in Aviation Safety. He flew and is rated
in the following aircraft: CE 500, CE 525, BAE 4100,
B737, HS 125, IA 1124, BE 200, BE 90, BE 100.
Steven
maintains an active role in training at Jet Aeronautical
to ensure that each student receives personalized top
quality flight training. Steven has direct control over
the quality of the product at Jet Aeronautical and it
shows
Mike
Lane
Mr.
Lane comes to Jet Aeronautical by way of the US Navy,
air ambulance, charter operations, and corporate aviation.
An ATP rated pilot, he has accumulated over 14,000 hours
and has experienced the wonders of aviation for the past
40 years. Mike has been both a military and civilian
flight instructor, is familiar with single and multi-engine
piston, turbo-prop and turbo jet systems. With a Cessna
Citation type rating, sea plane rating and glider experience,
Mike brings a unique energy to his classroom presentations
and thoroughly enjoys the challenges of training.
John
Ingwell
Jonathan
V. Ingwell is an experienced naval aviator and instructor
pilot flying both rotary and fixed-winged aircraft
in the Marine Corps. He has served as a flight and ground
instructor covering all facets of Marine aviation. As
a
former Standardization Instructor/Evaluator and Full
Systems Post-Maintenance Check Pilot in the King
Air, Cessna Citation,
and Huey he brings to the table a high level of aviation
systems knowledge and teaching experience. Additionally,
he has been trained as a Crew Resource Management Instructor
and Search & Rescue Instructor Pilot. Jonathan is
a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point
with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He is
also
a graduate of the Aviation Safety Officer Course from
the Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey. He has accumulated
over 5500 flight hours, predominately in the King Air,
Citation Encore and the UH-1 Huey helicopter. He holds
an ATP Certificate and is rated in the BE 200 and CE
500.
Adam
Ingels
Mr.
Ingels serves as manager of operations for Jet Aeronautical.
Adam graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University
with a major in Aeronautical science and a Minor in Aviation
Weather. Adam came to us through Jet Aeronautical’s
internship program with Embry Riddle. Currently he is
a commercially rated pilot soon to be a certified flight
instructor.
