What kind of simulator does Jet Aeronautical operate?
Jet Aeronautical has a static King Air 200 specific simulator
What kind of avionics are in the King Air Simulator?
The simulator is set up with standard instrumentation with a Garmin 530/430.
Does Jet Aeronautical conduct aircraft training for the King Air?
Yes, on request, Jet Aeronautical will conduct training in the simulator and/or aircraft.
What King Air models does Jet Aeronautical train in?
Jet Aeronautical conducts initial training in the 90/100/200 series and recurrent training in the 90/100/200/300 series King Airs.
Are Jet Aeronautical’s King Air courses Insurance Approved?
Jet Aeronautical has approval from all insurance companies for it’s courses. Approval is based on pilot qualifications, as well as Jet Aeronautical’s training programs.
Can we fly in for our King Air classes?
Yes, you can fly into Gillespie Field (KSEE). You will need a rental car to travel between our facility and your hotel. Jet Aeronautical is located on the west end of the airport in the Gillespie Field Business Park.
What will our schedule be during King Air class?
Jet Aeronautical runs all King Air courses during regular business hours. We do schedule classes during weekends and nights on request.
Is there a discount for multiple King Air students?
Yes, there is a 50% discount for the second pilot attending. Please contact us for discounts applying to 3 or more pilots attending.

Can
I acquire an ATP at Jet Aeronautical?
Yes
you can. Any type ride will also qualify you for an ATP,
as long as you meet all of the pre-requisites (age,
flight
time, written complete).
Can
I acquire a single pilot waiver at Jet Aeronautical?
Jet
Aeronautical is not currently approved to provide the exemption
training required for single pilot waiver,
but
a CE 500 type
rating does allow you to fly a Citation ISP or IISP
single pilot without any additional training.
Does
Jet Aeronautical teach CitationJet courses?
Yes,
we currently teach the CJ, CJI, and CJII courses. These courses
are limited to teaching in the student’s aircraft.
Which
Citation model is taught? And are there differences training?
Due
to our smaller is better philosophy, Jet Aeronautical teaches
the aircraft that you fly.
That may be
a Citation Encore or
a straight Citation 500, we teach your aircraft
for the ground school. Differences is not necessary.
Is
there a Cockpit Procedures Trainer available?
Jet
Aeronautical always has a Citation and a King Air available
to practice checklist
flows and procedures.
Who
administers my check ride?
Your
check ride will be administered by either a DPE or our FAA
Inspector
depending
on availability
of each.
General Questions
Will we receive our course materials prior to class?
On request, Jet Aeronautical will send out course materials once a $500 deposit is received.
How far ahead should we schedule our classes?
We usually run a schedule one month in advance, but can fit you into an existing class on shorter notice if you have the flexibility.
Does
Jet Aeronautical offer a mentoring program for owner flown
VLJs?
Yes,
Jet Aeronautical does offer mentoring programs based on individual
requests. Please
refer to our page on VLJ’s and Owner Pilots.
Does
Jet Aeronautical provide FAR 135 training?
Yes,
Jet Aeronautical is the training provider for AEROMEDEVAC,
INC., a FAR 135 Air Ambulance

I provide my own aircraft for flight training?
Yes
you can. As a matter of fact, it lowers the
cost of
the course
greatly.
