 All
courses are taught at the Jet Aeronautical facility @ Gillespie
Field (KSEE) in San Diego, California. All of Jet Aeronautical’s
courses reference the Factory Manuals, in addition to Jet
Aeronautical’s own Course Manuals, supplemented with
various handouts. The Citation or King Air Factory Manual,
along with Course Notes will be mailed to students prior
to class with a structured pre-class syllabus. All
course material taught at Jet Aeronautical has been developed
by Jet Aeronautical. . The Citation & King Air Factory
Manuals are used as a reference throughout class as it relates
to an AFM (Aircraft Flight Manual). Course
material is presented in a number of ways. All diagrams and
performance material are presented using a state of the
art computer projector. Jet Aeronautical’s own course
material is presented in class, in the form of a bound manual. INITIAL
TYPE RATING – PILOT IN COMMAND Jet
Aeronautical’s has three courses available for the
Initial Citation Type Rating: FAR
61 - Basic (4-5 days) Our
FAR 61 basic course is a train to proficiency course. Although
a structured syllabus is followed, Jet Aeronautical is able
to asses a candidates skill level and provide the quickest
and most efficient training program available. This course
is a favorite of the experienced corporate and airline pilots.
This course includes a structured three day ground school,
Simulator, Cockpit Procedures Trainer, Flight Training and
the Check Ride. FAR
61 – Enhanced (5-6 days) Our
FAR 61 enhanced course is a train to proficiency course.
Although a structured syllabus is followed, Jet Aeronautical
is able to asses a candidates skill level and provide the
quickest and most efficient training program available. This
course presents the same material as the FAR 61 Basic course,
but in more detail. Both Ground and Flight Training are more
in depth for students that are not pro pilots, currently
flying turbine equipment. This course includes a structured
three day ground school, Simulator, Cockpit Procedures Trainer,
Flight Training and the Check Ride. FAR

SIC
TYPE RATING (4 days)
Jet
Aeronautical’s Second-in-Command course is taught to
exceed FAR 61.55 standards. A full ground school of three
days is taught in conjunction with the same flight training
as the FAR 61- Basic PIC course, minus the check ride. This
course is a valuable tool for the aspiring pilot who is looking
to get him/herself current for a right seat position. It
is not uncommon for students of this course to return to
finish up their PIC check out the following cycle. This training
allows students to get the CE 500 SIC TYPE RATING printed
on their license without any checkride with the FAA. PPE
(1-6 days) Jet
Aeronautical’s PPE course is designed as a train to
proficiency course, where cost is based on the student’s
previous qualifications and currency. This course can be
as short as one day and as long as our Enhanced course. Call
for details. FAR
